Looking for a New Alarm Monitoring Company? We Offer Free Takeovers!

by | Jun 6, 2019 | Blog, Business Security, Home Security, Monitoring Services

If you have an existing security system in your home or business that’s not currently being utilized or you are looking to switch security companies, you have come to the right place!

SEi offers free takeovers of old security systems to give you new monitoring and guaranteed satisfaction. In addition, if you have a current provider, SEi promises that you can pay $5 less each month for switching to us. The best part? (Yes, it gets better.) We can also cancel your dedicated phone line and save you money by switching your system to a cell card.

So, don’t wait and don’t put up with sub-quality monitoring. The first step into seeing if a system takeover is right for you is to determine the status of your existing security system.

Is Your System a Good Candidate for Reuse?

Alarm systems come in all different shapes, sizes, and configurations. Manufacturers make many types of systems with varying capabilities. The biggest factor that comes into play is age.

As a general rule of thumb, alarm systems installed after the year 2000 are prime candidates for reuse. This is mainly due to the lifespan of alarm systems as well as the technological advances new systems have, such as smartphone control, internet/cell communication, and home or business automation.

We do, however, accept both fire and burglar alarms. There are some exceptions, so every panel is on a case-by-case basis. The best way to find out is to contact Security Equipment Inc. We can let you know what the easiest route is to take.

Why Use SEi’s Monitoring?

SEi has been in business for 50 years. A lot has happened in the last 50 years in the industry of security, and our experience has taught us so much.

First, is how important customer service is to us and our customers. Our calls are always answered by a human being, never by an auto-attendant or voicemail. Our ambassadors are cross-trained along all key elements of alarm handling, data entry, and technical support, so customers don’t have to be transferred to several departments to have one problem solved.

Our ambassadors are also required to pass The Monitoring Association’s (TMA) Level I and Level II Dispatchers Course and are proud to receive a Five Diamond certification from The Monitoring Association. This makes us a TMA Five Diamond certified monitoring center. (There is only approximately 50 Five Diamond certified monitoring centers in the United States!)

Second, is that we don’t want to set any limits on what we can help monitor so that we can help you regardless of what your needs are. Our monitoring center is also manned 24 hours 7 days a week because we also know you need us to answer regardless of time or holidays. Our monitoring services include:

Third, we set high standards for our monitoring center because it’s what our customers deserve. Our monitoring center is UL listed, which out of the thousands of monitoring centers in the U.S., less than 150 are UL certified. UL is an organization subsidized by the insurance industry that writes engineering standards for many things, from extension cords to monitoring centers.

Our 24-hour monitoring center is also equipped with standby generating facilities to keep us online and at full power during an electrical blackout. In the event a disaster renders SEi’s Customer Care Center non-operational, alarm traffic will be rerouted to SEi’s disaster recovery site located in Colorado Springs, CO.
